The HAKII MIXV is a sun visor and an open-ear headphone in one. Two 22mm drivers sit above the ears and push sound through the air using HAKII's patented abTube technology, so you hear your music without anything plugged into your ears. The 8cm brim carries a UPF 50+ rating that blocks 99% of UV, which makes this a genuinely practical piece of kit for running and cycling in the Gulf. How to set up & use

Charge the visor over USB-C before first use; a full charge takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Power it on to enter pairing mode and select HAKII MIXV in your phone's Bluetooth list. Wear it like an ordinary visor with the speaker arms resting just above your ears. Press the left on/off button once for play, pause or answering a call, twice to wake Siri or another assistant, and use the right-hand plus and minus buttons for volume, or hold them for two seconds to skip tracks.

Connectivity & compatibility

Connects over Bluetooth 5.3 to phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs that support Bluetooth audio, using AAC or SBC. Range is up to 15 metres. Charging is over USB-C and no app is needed for everyday use.

Care & safety

Keep the volume well below maximum and take regular listening breaks to reduce the risk of hearing fatigue and long-term hearing damage.
The open-ear design deliberately leaves your ears uncovered so you can still hear your surroundings, but keep the volume moderate near traffic.
IPX5 covers sweat, splashes and rain only, so do not swim or shower in the visor and do not submerge it.
Wipe the band after workouts and let it dry fully before storing; do not machine wash the electronics.
Charge only with a compliant USB-C charger, and never charge the visor while it is damp.
Store it flat or on a shelf rather than crushed in a bag, and keep it out of prolonged direct heat.
