Bluetooth 5.4 with A2DP 1.4 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles connects to any modern phone, tablet, laptop or smart TV. The USB-C port handles charging, powerbank output and lossless wired audio. The speaker is Auracast-enabled for multi-speaker playback with other compatible JBL models, and the free JBL Portable app for iOS and Android adds EQ control and firmware updates.

Care & safety

Rinse the speaker with fresh water and dry it fully after use around salt water or sand, and make sure the USB-C port is completely dry before charging. Do not charge the speaker while it is wet, do not expose it to temperatures above 45C or leave it in direct sun inside a closed car, and use only a good-quality USB-C charger. Keep the volume at a sensible level to protect your hearing, and store the speaker partly charged if you will not use it for a long period.
