The JBL Xtreme 4 in Black is the speaker you carry to the party rather than the one you leave at home. Two woofers and two tweeters, backed by a pair of pumping JBL passive radiators, produce the kind of scale and bass that fills a garden or a beach. It runs for up to 24 hours, survives an IP67 dunking behind its rugged rubber bumpers, and - a first for the Xtreme line - takes a swappable battery, so the speaker outlives the cell inside it.

Shoulder strap and recycled materials

Bluetooth 5.3 with multi-point connection, so two source devices can stay paired at once and you can switch between a laptop and a phone without re-pairing. Works with any Bluetooth phone, tablet, laptop or smart TV. Auracast connects the Xtreme 4 to other Auracast-enabled JBL portable speakers. USB-C handles charging, speed charge and power-bank output. The JBL Portable app for iOS and Android adds EQ control, Playtime Boost and firmware updates.

Care & safety

IP67 covers fresh water only - rinse and dry the speaker after any contact with sea water, chlorinated water or sand, and make sure the USB-C port is dry before charging. Keep the port cover closed while the speaker is near water. Do not charge or store the speaker in a closed car in direct sun. Use only a genuine JBL replacement battery pack; do not puncture, crush or incinerate the battery. Clean the fabric grille with a soft damp cloth and no solvents.
