The Mi Automatic Foaming Soap Dispenser turns liquid soap into a soft lather and releases it without you touching anything. An infrared sensor detects your hand held close underneath and dispenses a measured shot of foam, which keeps the unit and the sink cleaner than a push-top bottle. It runs on four AA batteries, so it needs no mains socket and can sit anywhere on a counter.

How to set up & use

Open the lid, fit four AA batteries, then fill the tank with a liquid soap thin enough for a foaming pump. Close it, place it on a flat surface near the sink and hold your hand a short distance under the nozzle to dispense. Refill when the level drops, and give the nozzle a rinse periodically so the mesh stays clear.

Connectivity & compatibility

This is a standalone battery-powered appliance. There is no app, no Wi-Fi and no Bluetooth, and nothing to pair or configure. Xiaomi sells a matching Foaming Hand Soap Refill (BHR4559GL) separately; soap is not included with this dispenser.

Care & safety

Use only liquid soap that is thin enough for a foaming pump; thick creams, gels and undiluted hand wash will clog the mesh.
Do not immerse the motor housing in water or hold it under a running tap; wipe the outside with a damp cloth instead.
Rinse the nozzle regularly with warm water to stop dried soap from blocking it.
Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the dispenser for a long period, to avoid leakage.
Keep it on a flat, stable surface away from the edge of the counter and away from direct heat.
Do not force the mechanism or dismantle the unit; there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
