The Porodo Blue Cooling and Lighting Fan is a 296 mm rechargeable fan that also works as a lamp and a power bank. An 8-inch blade on three speeds moves the air, eight LEDs on three brightness levels light the space, and the 3600mAh battery pack can push a 5V/1A charge back out to your phone. It stands on a table, mounts on a wall and recharges from USB or its own solar panel, which makes it as useful on a camping trip or during a power cut as it is on a desk.

Charge indoors with a standard 5V USB adapter and let the unit cool before packing it away. Keep fingers and loose items clear of the blade while it runs, and do not operate the fan with a damaged guard. Wipe the housing with a dry or slightly damp cloth only — never immerse it. Recharge the battery every few months if the fan is stored unused, and keep it out of prolonged direct heat.
