How to set up & use

Fit four AAA batteries into the compartment underneath, place the scale on a flat, dry, level worktop and switch it on. Press the unit button to choose g, mL, oz, lb:oz or fl oz, then add your bowl and press tare so only the ingredient is weighed. To use the smart features, install the companion app (Unique Health on iOS, or the matching Android app on Google Play), enable Bluetooth on your phone and pair the scale; readings then appear in the app where the nutritional calculator can work out calories and nutrients.

Connectivity & compatibility

Connects over Bluetooth 5.4 with a transmission range of 10m or more, and works with the Unique Health companion app on iOS and Android. The scale also works perfectly well as a standalone kitchen scale if you never pair it - the display shows weights on its own. Operating temperature is 5°C to 40°C.

Care & safety

Place the scale on a flat, dry, level surface before weighing, and never on a hob, in an oven or in a microwave.
The IPX5 rating covers splashes only - do not immerse the scale or hold it under a running tap.
Wipe the tempered glass with a soft damp cloth and dry it; avoid abrasive pads, scouring powder and solvents.
Do not exceed the 5000g maximum, do not drop heavy pans onto the glass, and stop using the scale if the platform is chipped or cracked.
Keep the scale within its 5°C to 40°C operating range and away from steam vents and direct heat.
Remove the batteries if you are storing the scale for a long period, and keep loose batteries and the measuring tape away from young children.
