The Porodo Lifestyle Minimeasure is a simple home measuring tool for parents who like to keep their own notes between visits to the clinic. A high-precision sensor reads from 30g up to 40kg in 5g steps, and a weight lock display holds the number on screen so you can read it after your little one has already wriggled off. A built-in ruler and a 150cm measuring tape let you note length at the same time. Finished in clean White.

How to set up & use

Fit three AAA batteries into the compartment underneath and place the scale on a firm, flat, level surface such as a hard floor - never on a bed, sofa or worktop edge. Switch it on, let the display settle at zero, then lay a towel or blanket in the cradle and press tare so its weight is subtracted. Place your baby in the cradle while keeping a hand close by, wait for the weight lock to hold the figure, then read it off. Use the unit button to switch between g, kg, oz and lb, and the built-in ruler or the 150cm tape to note length.

Connectivity & compatibility

This is a fully standalone device. There is no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or app connection, and nothing to pair or install - you read the figures straight from the display and record them yourself.

Do not immerse the scale in water; wipe the ABS surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them, avoiding solvents and abrasive cleaners.
Do not exceed the 40kg limit, do not stand or jump on the scale, and remove the batteries if you are storing it for a long period.
