The Porodo PYRO is a mains-powered electric kettle built from stainless steel with PP trim, sized for households that boil water often rather than occasionally. Its 1500W element brings a full 1.8L load to the boil in up to 6 minutes, so tea, coffee and instant meals stop being a waiting game. How to set up & use

Unpack the kettle, rinse the interior, then fill with clean water and run one or two boil cycles, discarding the water, before first real use. Fill to your needed level, seat the kettle properly on its base and plug into a standard UK 3-pin socket. Let it complete its cycle, then lift and pour. Unplug when you are done and allow the unit to cool before refilling or storing.

Connectivity & compatibility

This is a standalone appliance with no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or app pairing. It plugs directly into a 220-240V mains socket through its UK 3-pin plug and operates independently.

Care & safety

Never fill above the maximum marking or below the minimum — overfilling can cause spitting during boil and underfilling risks dry heating.
Always unplug and let the kettle cool completely before cleaning, descaling or emptying.
Do not immerse the kettle body, base or plug in water; wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and dry it.
Descale regularly with a vinegar or citric acid solution in hard-water areas, then rinse thoroughly — scale slows heating and shortens element life.
Keep the cord away from hot surfaces and counter edges, and keep the kettle out of reach of children as the steel body gets hot in use.
Use only the base supplied with this kettle, and stop using it if the cord, plug or base shows any damage.
