The Powerology 2×AC Socket Car Power Inverter turns your car's 12V supply into 220V mains power, so laptops and small appliances can run while you drive. Alongside the two AC sockets it carries two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports for charging phones and tablets at the same time, and a digital voltage monitor keeps you informed of what the system is doing. Total output is rated at 300W, with PD 36W available on the Type-C ports for fast charging.
Key features & benefits
300W total output
Enough headroom to run a laptop charger or similar low-draw device on the road rather than waiting until you reach a wall socket.
Dual AC sockets at 220V / 50Hz
Two mains outlets let you power two plug-in devices from the car without carrying a separate adapter for each.
Voltage monitor display
The on-board digital readout shows what the inverter is doing, so you can keep an eye on power use instead of guessing.
Two USB-A ports at 30W max each
Handles phones, cameras and other USB-A devices at up to 30W without occupying an AC socket.
Two USB-C ports at 36W max each
Supports 5V/3A, 9V/3A and 12V/3A profiles so USB-C phones and tablets charge quickly.
PD 36W fast charging
Power Delivery on the Type-C outputs gets compatible devices back up to usable charge noticeably faster than a standard port.
Simultaneous charging
AC, USB-A and USB-C outputs can be used together, which suits a car full of passengers and devices.
54cm DC output cable
The DC output socket comes on a 54cm lead, giving you flexibility in where the unit sits in the cabin.
Built-in safeguards
Internal protection circuitry is included to keep operation safe under normal use.
How to set up & use
With the engine running, connect the inverter to your vehicle's 12V DC socket and switch it on. Check the digital display, then plug your devices into the AC sockets or the USB-A / USB-C ports. Keep the combined load of everything you connect within the 300W total output rating, and place the unit somewhere open where air can circulate around it. Switch it off and unplug it when you have finished.
Connectivity & compatibility
Connects to a standard 12V vehicle DC socket and draws up to 29A. It outputs 220V / 50Hz AC through two mains sockets, so it suits devices designed for 220V mains, plus two USB-A and two USB-C ports for phones, tablets and other USB-powered gear. There is no app or wireless connection — everything is handled through the physical ports and the display.
What's in the box
Powerology 300W car power inverter with attached 54cm DC output cable
Powerology publishes the full user manual online rather than listing further box contents, so packaging may vary by batch.
Care & safety
Never exceed the 300W total output rating — add up the wattage of everything you plug in before switching on.
Do not run high-draw appliances with the engine switched off, as the inverter will drain the vehicle battery.
Keep the unit in open air where heat can escape, and never cover it with fabric, seat covers, bags or clothing.
Do not place it under a seat, in a glovebox or anywhere airflow is restricted while it is running.
Disconnect the inverter from the 12V socket before leaving the vehicle, and do not leave it powering devices unattended.
Keep it dry, away from liquids, and out of reach of children and pets in the cabin.
Who it suits
Best suited to drivers, road-trippers and mobile workers who need real mains power and multi-device charging inside the car rather than just a USB socket.
