The Powerology 300W x2 AC Socket Car Power Inverter turns the car into a portable power hub. Two 220V AC sockets deliver a pure sine wave output, so laptops, cameras and other sensitive electronics run as smoothly as they would at home. Add fast USB-C and USB-A charging, two built-in retractable cables and a real-time voltage display, and it covers road trips, camping and emergency charging in one compact unit.

How to set up & use

Plug the inverter into the vehicle's 12V socket and start the engine. Use the touch control to switch the output on, then check the voltage display before connecting anything. Plug appliances into the two AC sockets, or pull out the retractable USB-C or Lightning cable for phones and tablets. Keep the combined draw within 300W and give the cooling fan clear air around the body.

Connectivity & compatibility

Input is 12V DC through the vehicle's cigarette-lighter socket, drawing up to 29A. Outputs are two 220V/50Hz AC sockets, a 12V/4A DC socket, a USB-C port up to 36W, a USB-A port up to 30W, a built-in retractable USB-C cable up to 36W and a built-in retractable Lightning cable up to 12W. It suits iPhone and iPad over the Lightning cable, and Android phones, tablets and USB-C laptops over USB-C, plus any mains appliance within the 300W rating.

Care & safety

Never exceed the 300W total rating, and do not connect heaters, kettles or other high-draw appliances.
Keep the inverter in an open, ventilated position with the cooling fan unobstructed, and away from seat fabric, blankets and paper that could trap heat.
Do not run high-draw appliances with the engine switched off, as this will flatten the vehicle battery quickly.
Disconnect the inverter and unplug connected devices before leaving the vehicle.
Keep it dry and out of prolonged direct sunlight, and never handle it with wet hands.
Stop using it immediately if the housing becomes very hot, smells of burning or the display behaves erratically.
