The Powerology Indoor PTZ Smart Camera is a versatile monitoring solution for the home and the office. It captures 4MP detail at 2560x1440 and records 1440P video at 20FPS, while a motorised head pans 355° horizontally and tilts 180° vertically so a single unit can watch an entire room. Two-way audio, AI smart detection and a choice of cloud or local storage round out a camera you can check from anywhere on your phone.

How to set up & use

Place the camera on a flat, stable surface where it has a clear view of the room and is within reach of a power outlet. Connect the supplied Type-C input to a DC 5V/1A power source and wait for the camera to start up. Download the Powerology app for Android or iOS, create an account and follow the in-app pairing steps to join your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If you want local recording, insert a TF card of up to 128GB before pairing, then use the app to set your monitoring zones, alerts and pan and tilt presets.

Connectivity & compatibility

The camera connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is controlled through the Powerology app, which is available for Android and iOS. Power is supplied through the Type-C input at DC 5V/1A. Storage is handled by cloud storage or a TF memory card of up to 128GB, which is not included. Because the radio is 2.4GHz, make sure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz band during setup.

Care & safety

This is an indoor camera intended for use inside your own home or premises; it is not weatherproof and should not be mounted outdoors.
Tell everyone who lives in or visits the space that a camera is present, and avoid pointing it at bathrooms, bedrooms of other adults or anywhere people expect privacy.
Recording other people is governed by local law, so check the rules that apply where you live before you record, and never aim the camera at a neighbour's property or a shared area.
Operate the camera between 10° and 45°C and keep it away from heat sources, steam and direct sunlight.
Power the camera only from a DC 5V/1A supply through the Type-C input; do not use damaged cables or adapters.
Wipe the lens with a soft dry cloth, choose a strong unique account password, and keep the app and firmware up to date.
