The RAVPower RP-WC012 is a puck-sized magnetic charging pad built for the iPhone 12 family. Its magnets snap the pad straight onto the charging coil on the back of the phone, so there is no hunting for the sweet spot and no slipping off overnight. At 62mm across and just 6.1mm thick, with an aluminium base, it is small enough to live in a pocket or a laptop bag.

Magnetic alignment
The magnets centre the pad on the iPhone 12's charging coil automatically, which removes the most common cause of slow or interrupted wireless charging.

How to set up & use

Connect the pad's USB-C cable to a USB-C wall adapter and plug it in. Hold the pad against the back of your iPhone 12 and the magnets will pull it into place with a click, after which charging starts on its own. For the full rated output, use a USB-C Power Delivery wall charger of at least 20W. Remove any non-MagSafe case, and take off metal plates, card holders or pop sockets before charging.

Connectivity & compatibility

Designed for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, and also charges AirPods and AirPods Pro charging cases. It works through Apple MagSafe cases; other cases need to be removed. The pad connects over USB-C and needs its own USB-C wall adapter, which is not supplied.

Care & safety

Keep cards, coins, keys and any other metal objects off the charging surface, as magnets and induction charging can damage magnetic stripes and heat metal.
Do not cover the pad or the phone with fabric, cushions or bedding while charging.
Use only a compliant USB-C wall adapter and an undamaged cable.
Unplug the charger from the wall socket when it is not in use.
Keep the pad dry, and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth rather than liquids or solvents.
Stop using the charger if the cable, casing or charging surface becomes damaged.
