How to set up & use

Charge the speaker over USB Type-C before first use. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to switch it on, then short-press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode and select the speaker on your phone. Short-press the power button to play, pause or answer a call. For stereo, double-press the Bluetooth button on both speakers; for a multi-speaker group, triple-press it on each unit. Hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds to switch between Bluetooth and USB modes.

Connectivity & compatibility

Bluetooth 6.0, so it pairs with any Bluetooth phone, tablet or computer on iOS, Android, Windows or macOS. USB mode turns it into a wired USB audio device for a PC, laptop or tablet; connect the cable straight to the source device rather than through a hub or dock, as hubs can cause playback problems. TWS stereo pairing needs two Essential units, and multi-speaker mode supports up to 10. No app is required to use the speaker; all functions are handled by the two physical buttons. The indicator light shows status: green for fully charged, white for power on, blue for Bluetooth pairing, purple for stereo or multi-speaker mode and red for low battery or charging.
