The Xiaomi Desktop Speaker Pro Set is a 2.1 channel desktop audio system built around a long horizontal main speaker and a separate wireless subwoofer. The main unit carries two 10W racetrack drivers behind a metal grille, angled up at 53 degrees so the sound is aimed at you rather than across the desk, while the subwoofer uses a 96mm long-throw driver to extend the bass down to 60Hz. RGB lighting, five EQ modes and a built-in microphone round it out.

How to set up & use

Place the main speaker in front of your monitor and put the subwoofer on the floor or under the desk, then connect each to its own supplied power adapter. Connect the main speaker to your computer with the USB cable, or use the AUX-in, or pair over Bluetooth 5.3. The subwoofer links to the main speaker wirelessly on 2.4GHz. Use the multifunction control knob and buttons on the unit for volume, source and EQ, or install the Xiaomi C-HUB software to fine-tune the sound and the lighting.

Connectivity & compatibility

Wireless audio is Bluetooth 5.3 with A2DP, which works with any Bluetooth-capable phone, tablet or computer. Wired connections are USB, AUX-in and a 3.5mm microphone input. The subwoofer links to the main speaker over a dedicated 2.4GHz wireless connection. Audio and lighting can be customised with the Xiaomi C-HUB desktop software; the speakers also work fully without it.

Care & safety

Keep the volume at a moderate level; sustained loud listening at close desk range can damage hearing over time.
Keep both units away from water, drinks and damp areas, and never place liquids on top of the speaker or subwoofer.
Keep them away from radiators, direct sunlight and enclosed spaces where heat can build up; the stated operating range is 0 C to 40 C.
Do not block the ports or cover the grilles with cloth, paper or other objects.
Use only the supplied power adapters, and unplug both from the mains before cleaning.
Wipe the metal grille with a dry or barely damp soft cloth; do not use solvents.
