The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 is the standard model in Xiaomi's Scooter 6 range, sitting above the 6 Lite and below the 6 Pro and 6 Max. Its signature kicktail deck, 12-inch tubeless tyres and front-and-rear spring suspension smooth out rough city streets, while a 360Wh battery delivers a travel range of up to 45 km. An 800W peak brushless motor handles inclines of up to 18%, and the whole scooter carries an IPX5 water-resistance rating.

12-inch large tubeless tyres
Front and rear shock-absorbing tyres reduce road vibration and give greater stability in turns. Compared with a 10-inch tyre, ground contact area is increased by 40% and axle height by 24%, so speed bumps and gravel are far less unsettling.

Front dual-spring and rear single-spring suspension
30mm of dual-spring travel at the front plus single-spring suspension at the rear absorbs bumps on uneven surfaces, keeping long journeys comfortable.

Up to 45 km of travel range
A high-capacity 360Wh ternary lithium battery lets you cover a full day of errands or commuting without hunting for a socket.

800W peak power and 18% maximum incline
The high-efficiency brushless motor delivers strong climbing ability, so Kuwait's ramps, flyover approaches and car-park inclines are taken in stride at up to 25 km/h.

Automotive-grade steel frame supporting 120 kg
The frame uses HC420 structural steel, the same grade used for automotive beams and crossmembers, for a stiff and impact-resistant platform that carries riders up to 120 kg.

Dual braking system with brake warning tail light
A front drum brake works together with rear E-ABS for stable stops, and the tail light flashes under braking to alert traffic behind you.

IPX5 water resistance and smart battery management
The whole scooter is rated IPX5 and the battery pack is rated IPX6 or above, while the smart BMS adds six protections covering over-charge, over-discharge, overvoltage, overheating, short circuit and overcurrent.

How to set up & use

Assembly is quick: unfold the scooter, fit the handlebar to the stem using the supplied Allen key and screws, and check that every fastener is fully tightened before your first ride. Charge the battery fully before setting off; a full charge takes approximately 8 hours with the supplied charger. Once powered on, cycle through the three riding modes to suit the situation: Pedestrian mode at 6 km/h for crowded walkways, Standard mode at 15 km/h for everyday riding, and Sport mode at 25 km/h when the road is clear. A single press of the power button switches the 2.5W headlight on or off, which lights the road roughly 15 metres ahead. Folding takes three steps: with the scooter switched off and unplugged, lift the quick release lever lock and pull the lever outward, repeat to release the bottom folding hook and fold the stem down, then align the buckle with the hook and secure them together.

Connectivity & compatibility

The scooter pairs with the Xiaomi Home app over Bluetooth, and the app is available for both Android and iOS. From your phone you can check remaining range and current battery level, switch riding mode, engage the motor lock, review your journey log, and adjust energy recovery and start-up speed once assisted riding is enabled. Tyre pressure maintenance reminders can also be turned on from the app settings.

Care & safety

Always wear a helmet, and check the rules in Kuwait on where e-scooters may legally be ridden before your first trip.
Check tyre pressure, brakes and all fasteners before every ride.
Although the scooter is rated IPX5, do not ride in rain or standing water, as prolonged exposure can allow water into the chassis and damage electronic components; wipe the scooter dry with a towel after any exposure to water.
Charge only with the supplied charger, and never leave a lithium battery charging unattended or overnight.
Do not carry a passenger; this scooter is designed for a single rider only.
Observe the limits: maximum load 120 kg, rider height 140-200 cm, rider age 16-50 years, and an operating temperature range of -10 C to 40 C.
If you travel by air with this scooter, the lithium battery must go in cabin baggage and must never be placed in checked baggage.

Who it suits

Ideal for commuters and everyday city riders who want noticeably more range, suspension and climbing power than an entry-level scooter, without stepping up to the larger 6 Pro or 6 Max.
