The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite is the entry point to Xiaomi's Scooter 6 range, sitting below the standard 6, the 6 Pro and the 6 Max. At roughly 18.1 kg it is the lightest of the family, built around a high-strength carbon structural steel frame with 25mm dual-spring front suspension and 10-inch pneumatic tyres. A 216Wh battery gives a travel range of up to 25 km and the 500W peak Hall-effect brushless motor climbs slopes of up to 15%.

The whole scooter is rated IPX4 and the battery is rated IPX6, while the smart BMS adds six protections covering over-charge, over-discharge, overvoltage, overheating, short circuit and overcurrent.

How to set up & use

Setup is straightforward: unfold the scooter, fit the handlebar to the stem with the supplied Allen key, and confirm every fastener is tight before riding. Charge fully before your first trip (approx. 8 hours with the supplied charger). Choose from three riding modes: Pedestrian (6 km/h) for practising or crowds, Standard (15 km/h) for daily commuting, and Sport (25 km/h) for open roads. To fold: switch off and unplug, release the quick-release lever lock, pop out the bottom folding hook and fold the stem down, then secure the buckle to the hook for carrying or storage.

Connectivity & compatibility

The scooter connects to the Xiaomi Home app (Android and iOS) over Bluetooth. Use the app to check range and battery level, change riding mode, engage the motor lock, review your journey log, adjust energy recovery, and enable tyre pressure reminders.

Care & safety

Always wear a helmet and check local rules on where e-scooters may legally be ridden before your first trip.
Check tyre pressure, brakes and all fasteners before every ride.
Rated only IPX4 — do not ride in rain or standing water, as water entering the chassis can damage electronic components; wipe dry after any exposure to moisture.
Charge only with the supplied charger, and never leave it charging unattended or overnight.
Single rider only; do not carry a passenger.
Observe the limits: max load 100 kg, rider height 140-200 cm, rider age 16-50 years, operating temperature -10 C to 40 C.
If travelling by air with this scooter, the battery must go in cabin baggage, never checked baggage.
