How to set up & use

Charge the case over USB-C before first use. To pair, put both earbuds in the case, press and hold the touch area of either earbud for about 3 seconds and release - the white indicator flashes to show it is waiting for a connection. Open Bluetooth on your phone and select "Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic" (enter 0000 if a code is requested). On supported Xiaomi phones running the latest MIUI, simply opening the case near the unlocked phone brings up a pop-up connection window. To reset, hold the touch area on both earbuds for 7 seconds until the white lights stay on.

Connectivity & compatibility

Connects over Bluetooth 5.0 with SBC and AAC audio codecs, and works with any Bluetooth phone, tablet or laptop on Android or iOS. The MIUI pop-up quick-pairing window is available only on selected Xiaomi and Redmi phones updated to the latest MIUI. Effective range is about 10 metres in open space without obstacles. Volume and track changes are made on the connected device. The charging case charges over a USB Type-C port at 5V/1A and does not support wireless charging.

Care & safety

Keep the volume moderate - long listening sessions at high volume can permanently damage your hearing.
Wipe the earbuds and clean the tips regularly with a dry, soft cloth, and keep the charging contacts clean so the case can charge them properly.
Stop using the earbuds if you feel ear pain, pressure or irritation, and do not wear them while driving or cycling in traffic where you need to hear your surroundings.
The earphones resist splashes and sweat, but they are not for swimming or immersion; dry them before putting them back in the case and never charge them while wet.
Charge only with a compliant USB charger, ideally in a 15°C to 45°C environment, and do not leave them charging unattended or overnight.
Keep the earbuds and the case away from small children - they are a choking hazard - and away from heat and direct flame.
