How to set up & use

Setup takes three steps: download the Xiaomi Home app (version 10.2 or above), power the camera on with the supplied adapter and cable, then scan the QR code on the base of the camera in the app. Place it upright on a table or shelf, or mount it inverted on a ceiling using the included wall mounting kit and template sticker (rotate the image in the app for inverted mounting). AI features such as crying baby, pet, human and loud noise detection are off by default and are enabled under AI settings in the app.

Connectivity & compatibility

Works with the Xiaomi Home app on Android 8 and iOS 12.0 or above. Connects over dual-band Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with Bluetooth 5.4 for setup. Voice control is supported through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant on compatible devices.

Keep the operating temperature between -10°C and 40°C and use only the supplied 5V 2A adapter and cable.
